JMS-30-MHT. Overview.

The JMS-30-MHT is a complete dust collection system featuring a dirty air intake(s), filter house, clean air box, silencer, exhaust, dust discharge system and centrifugal fan mounted on a single manoeuvrable base to create 30 m3/s (60,000 CFM) @ -3 kPa (12 iwg).

Efficiency. Power. 
One of the key features of the JMS-30-MHT is the inclusion of a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) as part of the standard configuration. The VFD ensures the dust collector provides the required air flow using the least amount of power. If there is insufficient air flow, the air flow meter on the dust collector will turn up the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to generate more air volume. Equally the air flow meter will turn down the VFD so the dust collector uses less kW for the same amount of volume depending on the temperature and conditions. This makes the units power efficient, and clients have reported they have been able to reduce their power consumption by up to 40%.

We have new units available for purchase, along with JMS-30-MHT units in our rental fleet to provide short-medium-long-term hire.

Mobility.  Track Mounted.

The JMS-30-MHT is mounted on a track undercarriage to offer full mobility and better control with variable speeds between 2–4kph to increase the speed and efficiency of operations.

Grydale hold the patent for manufacturing the only self-propelled, mobile dust collection units on the market. Our track mounted units have the following key advantages:

  1. Units can be easily transported and operational in a very short period, with limited set-up requirements.
  2. Electric powers the dust collection operation.
  3. Units can be easily moved during operation. Moving alongside dust generating equipment, such as road headers and machines used for bench excavation and cross passages provides effective dust collection at source.
  4. Units do not require long, expensive ducting to be constructed/installed.
  5. Units offer full mobility and better control with variable speeds between 2–4kph to increase the speed and efficiency of operations.

Power.  Hybrid

The JMS-30-MHT uses 415 V-3Ph-50 Hz to power the centrifugal exhaust fan, auger, rotary valve discharge system and screw compressor. The tracks are hydraulically powered by the diesel engine and operated via remote control. (Umbilical control is also provided as a failsafe.)

Note 1: During normal operation dust collectors achieve a filtration efficiency better than installed filter MERV rating due to dust cake build-up on filter media. Dust cake efficiency is dependent on dust type, particle sizes etc. Efficiencies of 99.99% at 0.067 micron have been achieved.
