Grydale maximises ship loading efficiency by 440% by installing a JMS-50 Mobile Electric Skid Dust Collector at the Port of Brisbane, Australia. Conveyor speeds could then be increased during loading from 100T per hour to 540T per hour creating significant cost savings.
At Breedon Quarry valuable aggregates need to be extracted close to the nearby community of Breedon on the Hill. After reaching the limits of drilling and blasting that could be done without creating excessive vibration and dust implications for the surrounding environment, Breedon needed to find another viable solution.
Central Walk is a new 62ft (19m) wide underground pedestrian concourse at Central Station that will connect passengers to trains, light rail, and new Sydney Metro underground platforms. A Grydale JMS-50-MES was the best solution to provide ventilation and dust control during this project.
Grydale designed an extract ventilation system for K-Road. Air is drawn from the outside through the tunnel using negative pressure and air is exhausted via ducting to a dust collector, delivering clean air to the atmosphere.

The Greenbank Sewer Rising Main project was undertaken by Diona in November 2019, for the Logan Water Infrastructure Alliance and involved the installation of 5.6 kilometres of sewer rising main pipeline. They hired a JMS-20-MDT (Diesel, Track) dust collector from Grydale Rental to manage the silica dust created as a result of trenching through sandstone.
Our client has two 8000m2 sheds that store zinc and copper concentrate before being distributed to customers across the globe. Zinc and Copper dust needed to be fully contained within each shed to protect against spillage, avoid cross contamination and ensure environmental security. With the added challenge of having the port directly opposite Townsville, EHP limits placed on the client meant no visible dust was allowed to escape each building. Grydale were commissioned to design, manufacture and install a JMS 48 F-Series Dust Collection System for each storage shed (zinc and copper) to manage dust created through loading and unloading product.
Our clients’ site expansion works, included a tender for a dust extraction system to manage dust created by two secondary and tertiary cone crushers and three screening plants. Grydale were awarded the contract to design, manufacture and install a Grydale JMS 48 F-Series Dust Extraction System. This unit provided 38,000m3/hr of air flow at -2.0kPA, which offered the capacity to extract dust from the two secondary and tertiary cone crushers and three screening plants.
